Los Angeles Triathlon®
The City of Los Angeles will soon be releasing to the public a Request For Proposal (RFP) for the operation of the Los Angeles Triathlon® and related sports events on the City’s behalf. The RFP will be posted on the Los Angeles Business Assistance Virtual Network (BAVN) website, www.labavn.org. Please note that in order to access and respond to the RFP, the business will need to be registered with BAVN. At this time, registering a business is completely free and can be done by clicking on the Register link at the top of the page.
The City is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations and individuals to plan and conduct the annual sports and athletic events under the trade name Los Angeles Triathlon® on behalf of the City of Los Angeles. The triathlon must be properly financed, sponsored and advertised; must draw top-name participants; and must be sanctioned by the USA Triathlon (USAT), the national governing body recognized by the United States Olympic Committee.
