HOMELESSNESS
A BRIDGE HOME
To date, we have successfully completed 13 A Bridge
Home projects with a total of 973 beds. This proposed
budget provides funding to complete development for
the remaining projects, bringing the total to 30 shelters
and over 2,000 beds across Los Angeles.
COMPREHENSIVE CLEANING AND
RAPID ENGAGEMENT (CARE/CARE+)
Continued funding for 17 CARE teams that work in
partnership with LAHSA and LAPD to keep the City’s
sidewalks and other public areas safe, clean, sanitary,
and accessible for public use.
Continued funding for 12 CARE+ teams that work to
reduce the backlog of service requests related to the
removal of trash and hazardous materials from City
streets.
