PRIORITY OUTCOME

The Mayor has identified four Priority Outcomes that guide budgetary decision-making. The Priority
Outcome with which each departmental budget program most closely aligns is listed in each program
description. The four Priority Outcomes are as follows:

1. Make Los Angeles the best run big city in America
2. Promote good jobs for Angelenos all across Los Angeles
3. Create a more livable and sustainable city
4. Ensure our communities are the safest in the nation
